NB. Transcriptions of christening dates differ between Borthwick Institute and LDS/IGI sources.
NB. The burial date is earlier than the christening date. Either there was an earlier son called James, possibly both about 1760, whose christening is not recorded, or a date has been transcribed incorrectly. As there are a number of discrepancies between Borthwick and IGI transcriptions I'm inclined to believe that this is a transcription error.
