Narrative and Notes

It is believed that John ARCHIBALD was the son of Henry and Mary SAGAR. Supporting evidence is that:

- he is living with Mary in 1841 in Blackburn

- as Henry as travelled from Scotland there are no other related ARCHIBALD men in Lacashire old enough to be John's father (unless another ARCHIBALD family member joined Henry).

In 1851 John is a hand loom weaver and living at Bottom of Brandy House Brow, Blackburn. He was married.
