I Thomas Miles of Shenton in the County of Leics ye and being weak of body but of perfect mind & memory thanks be to the Lord for the same I make constitute, ordain & appoynt this my last will and testamt in manner & form following
Imprimie I give & bequeath my soul to God that gave it & my body to be buried in such decent manner as my executor hereafter named shall think fit And for the disposing of my temporal estate which it hath pleased God to bestow uppon me
I give and bequeath unto my loving wifeMary Miles one feather bed & one hundred pound to be payd to her by my executor hereafter named within halfe a year after my decease
I give & bequeath unto my sonne Robert Miles two hundred pounds: one hundred pound [pte] thereof to be payd to him within one year after my decease & the other shall attain to the age of one & twentie yeares
The sed Robt Miles when he shall attain to the age of one & twentie years
All the rest of my goods debts creditts: ready money, Bills, Bonds, securities, houshould stuffs, cattle & chattle whatsoever (my debts being payd, legacies secured & funerall expenses descharged) I give and bequeath them solely to my sonne Thomas Miles whom I make , constitute ordain & appoynt sole executor of this my last will & testamt in witness whereof I have sett to my hand & seale the eighteenth day of June in the yeare of our Lord God : 1694
