5 - Will of Robert Furborrow of Frowlesworth, 1823 and Probate 1830

This is the last will and Testament of me Robert Furborrow of Frowlesworth in the County of Leicester Shoemaker which I make and ordain in manner following that is to say in the first place I will and direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and the charges of proving this my will be fully paid and satisfied and after payment thereof I give and devise unto my eldest son Joseph Furborrow who now resides at Higham on the Hill in this County All that messuage & tenement with the yard garden and appurtenances thereunto belonging now in my own occupation situate standing lying and being in Frowlesworth aforesaid to hereunto my said son Joseph his heirs and assigns for ever subject nonetheless to the payment of nine pence weekly and every week after my decease unto my dear wife Martha Furborrow. And also that she shall have the use of the latter from the present now. I give and devise all those my other messuages & tenements situate at Frowlesworth aforesaid now in the respective occupations of my son Thomas and John Hill together with the orchard now in my own occupation and the homestead thereunto belonging unto my said wife Martha for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease. I give and devise the same last mentioned premises unto my said son Thomas Furborrow and his assigns for and during the term of his natural life and after the determination of those two particular life estates I give and devise the same last mentioned hereditaments and premises unto my grandson Robert Furborrow his heirs and assigns for ever. I give and bequeath unto my said wife Martha Furborrow all my household furniture which shall be possessed of at the time of my decease as also all debts and invoices which shall be at that time due and owing to me without any deduction abatement change or encumbrance whatsoever. I also give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of thirty pounds which I hereby empower my executors hereinafter named to pay her within twelve months after my decease and which shall arrive and be made from the sale of my implements and stock in trade and if upon sale such implements and stock trade shall not be found to produce the said sum of thirty pounds then the deficiency to be made up from the debts which shall be then due and owing to me as aforesaid and I do hereby appoint my said sons Joseph and Thomas joint executors of this my will and I do hereby revoke all former wills at any time heretofore by me made and declare this only to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said Robert Furborrow the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three
