Dorothy MASON was the daughter of Richard MASON Doctor of Physick. Her father died when she was 5 years old, leaving her mother £300 and property, so at least they were comfortable financially.
It's not clear when her mother died - no burial of a Emma/Eunice MASON has been found - but it is possible she re-married to Thomas SAVILE of Blaby. If that is correct then they both died in 1683 and any estate left from Richard's will would have passed to Dorothy her siblings Ann and William, assuming that they were her siblings (see Dr Richard MASON's notes) and that they had survived.
Dorothy married William Craddock by licence in 1707 in Leicester.
