Narrative and Notes

Mary married James ESTLIN junior on 14 Jan 1740/41, but she would only have been 17 years old.

James had also been baptized in the Great Meeting Chapel in Hinckley, so perhaps that was where they met.

Mary was 81 years old when she died, a widow, in 1814. Her age confirming that this was the right marriage.

It's unclear why she was left out of his will of 1785. Perhaps he was against her marriage - although he could have blocked it - or perhaps they fell out later.
