Jane JONES was the daughter of Samuel JONES, a shoe maker.
She married John BROOKER in 1838 when she was 28. John may have been a cousin, as her mother was also a BROOKER, daughter of a London butcher. There don't appear to have been any children, and John may have died relatively soon after they married.
In 1868, she married Edward PARKER following the death of his wife, Mary JONES, her sister. They were both 58 years old. At the time of this marriage she had been living with her father Samuel and sister Susan, at 15 Colmore Row. Interestingly, Edward was unable to sign his own name.
