Mary JONES was born in January 1808 in London, possibly the City of London as per the 1851 Census. She was baptized in 1809 in Piccadilly, Westminster by her parents Samuel, a boot maker, and Jane nee BROOKER.
She married Edward PARKER on 01 February 1833 in Edgbaston, Warwickshire, by license. The witnesses were Emma JONES, her sister, and [J]ane FROW.
In 1841 they were living on Wellington Road in Edgbaston. With them was sister Emma JONES, aged 25-29. Edward and Mary had six children and were know to be living on Cockshed Hill, Sheldon, Warwickshire between 1851 and 1861.
Mary died of heart disease aged 56 on 11 May 1864 in Sheldon, presumably at home in Cockshed Hill. Her death was announced in the Birmingham Post. Her death certificate was reported by her son Edward who was present at the death.
Her husband Edward married Mary's sister, Jane, in 1868. Edward died in 1876, and in 1881, Jane was living with Mary's daughter Margaret.
