Narrative and Notes

It's likely that Anthony MILLS, a wheelwright like his father and forebears, lived in ill-health for at least the last few years of his life. Perhaps in anticipation of his early death, his father only left him 10s 6d in his own will, but in the event Anthony pre-deceased him. With the exception of his clothes which went to his brother-in-law Thomas ARNOLD, Anthony left his entire estate to his servant Jane PERKINS suggesting a long term care situation.
