Narrative and Notes

George probably ended his life in the Metropoliton District Asylum, Leavesden, Watford. He was a patient from before April 1881.

One potential cause of a middle-aged man being committed to an asylum was an advanced case of syphilis, a venereal bacterial infection that eventually infects the brain causing loss of control and insanity.

George died in Watford in 1889.
