Narrative and Notes

Richard and his wife, Mary, baptized five children in the Presbyterian Chapel in Hinckley between 1733/34 and 1741.

There were many Richard GARNERs in and around Burbage and Hinckley at that time with 2 marriages at nearby Aston Flamville, 2 in Hinckley, 1 in Burbage and one in Leicester between 1726 and 1752. One of these, the marriage of a Richard GARNER with Hannah LOW in Aston Flamville in 1725 looks like an earlier marriage, as Hannah GARNER, the wife of Richard was buried in Burbage in April 1729.
