Narrative and Notes

Muriel Constance Freda Valerie EDWARDS married Arthur Frederick MORRIS on 24 Oct 1925 in Neepawa. Shew was variously known as Muriel or Freda and even added Valerie to her name when she married. The liberal use of names was normal for her parents too, so this is not too concerning. She never adopted the surname of her step-father Peter FUCHS.

Given the fairly rigorous data protection rules in Canada it has not been possible to trace any of her descendants, nor any obituary for either her or her husband, but a 'Marcheta' EDWARDS, widow of Arthur Frederick MORRIS and daughter of Andrew E EDWARDS and Florence Ethel HEDGES, died suddenly in June 1948 in Flos, Simco, Ontario of a coronary thrombosis.

Perhaps the name 'Marcheta' was an abbreviated form of Mur[iel]-C[onstance]-[Fr]eda...?
