Miles MARSH was born in about 1764/5 in Wakefield. His parents, Richard and Frances later moved to Selby.
Miles was a bricklayer and stonemason, and his father was a joiner.
He married Mary RUSSELL in 1796 at the age of 32. She was 23. He clearly had a member of the MARSH family as witness to the marriage, however it is not possible to make out the christian name.
They had seven children between 1796 and 1813.
