Narrative and Notes

Amelia was born in 1794, the daughter of Ralph COTON and Margaret BLOWER. Her father died in when she was 2 years old and her mother married John PARKER.

In 1820 she married John Frederick PARKER in Birmingham. Together they had three sons. John worked as a Silver Plater probably with his step-father-in-law John PARKER and after his death with his brother-in-laws William and John PARKER.

Amelia received a bequest in her step-father's will of 1836 for £200. He described her as his daughter-in-law.
