Eleanor BEEVERS was born in 1884 in Leicester, the third child of William and Mary BEEVERS.

In 1901 she was a Tailoress Apprentice. She married Randolph SCOTT in 1905 in Wavertree.

Randolph and Eleanor had four children. The eldest child Randolph died in 1910, at the age of 4ư. By this time they were living at 22 Wilton Street. A cousin, Evelyn Scott, died in 1912 aged 3ư, and Randolph's father, John Scott, died in 1913. Their third child Mona Irene died in 1914, aged 15 months, and as a result Randolph purchased a burial plot Number 143 in Section 11 of Anfield Park Cemetery, Liverpool, "for his Heirs and Assigns for ever ...". Their address was given as 7 Eaton Place, Everton.

In 1939 she was living with Randolph and her daughter Edna May and her husband Jack. She was described as being "Invalid (Incapacitated)"

Eleanor died in March 1940

MR JOHN SCOTT

The funeral of Mr John Scott who died after a brief illness at his residence, Breck-road, took place yesterday at Everton Cemetery. The deceased gentleman was one of the oldest tradesmen in Everton where he carried on business as a furniture broker. He was also an active member of the Breck-road Conservative Club. The chief mourners were Mr John Scott Mr Edward Scott and Mr Charles Scott (sons) Mrs Evans (daughter) Mrs E Scott (daughter-in-law), Mr Wregg, Mr R Scott Mrs Scott, Mr John Evans son-in-law Mrs Turner, Mr and Mrs Thomas Scott, Mr John Robinson, Miss Robinson, Mr P Davidson, Mr Dunn, Mr Charles Mesler Mr Thomas Gr[iffen] Mr Hutchinson, Mr Gee and Mr Stainton. The Conservative Club were well represented at the Cemetery. The service was conducted by the Rev Ernest Gill, vicar at St Chrysostom's Everton. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mssrs R McDougal and Co, Ltd Breck-road Everton
