Dinah SPENCE was baptized by her mother in Fewston in 1739 (15 miles north of Bramley).

At some point she and her mother must have left Fewston - perhaps as a result of her illegitimacy - and Leeds would have made the most sense.

She married Abraham TURNER in 1764, aged 25, and they had four children.
