No local baptisms of a Frances WOODWARD or similar have been found. It's also possible that she was a widow when she married John, however no local marriages of a Frances and a WOODWARD (or similar) have been found either.

Only one baptism of a child of Frances and John GARNER has been found, Francis in 1718.

Frances lived until 1748. If she was born in the 1690s then she would have been in her 50s, but she may have been older, partially explaining there only being one child.
