Hannah Scott was born in 1843, the youngest child of Thomas Scott and Hannah Webster.
She married William Tate, a commercial clerk of Kendal in 1864, however he died in 1871 in Kendal without any known surviving children.
At some point she travelled to Liverpool where she met up with her brother John Scott, who was a witness at her marriage to Joseph Gee in 1876.
They were living at 55 Newlands Street, Everton when she gave birth to twins: Florence May and Thomas William. The twins were born on 25th May 1877, but Florence May died in 1878.
Hannah died the next year of phthisis (TB/consumption) after a 13 month illness. Letters of Administration of the personal Estate and Effects of Hannah Gee (Wife of Joseph Gee) late of 55 Newland Street Breck Road Liverpool who died 21st September 1879 were granted to Joseph Gee of 55 Newland Street Customs Officer.
