Narrative and Notes

Jane ROYLE was the daughter of the Rector of Seagrave amd Curate of Syston, Thomas ROYLE, and his wife Elizabeth. She was born in 1724. Her father died when she was very young.

Jane married Robert WELDON in Syston in 1749. He husband would have been 9 years older than her.

They had only had two children, Thomas in March 1750/1 (i.e. 15 months after they were married) and Robert in 1753, before Jane died in 1754.
