Narrative and Notes

William UNDERWOOD was born in 1693. His parents were William and Elizabeth UNDERWOOD.

He married Mary WHEELWRIGHT in November 1726 and they had four children over the following ten years while living in Rotherby.

It's not clear what his profession was, but he was a churchwarden at All Saints, Rotherby. His son William was a gardener.

William left his estate to his wife Mary when he died in 1755. On her death the estate was to pass to his son William with the exception of £30 and all the household goods which were to pass to his daughter Elizabeth.
