Narrative and Notes

William and Elizabeth UNDERWOOD baptized at least four children in Asfordby in the late 17th and early 18th century. Parish records before 1693 are missing (until 1676) so it is not possible to identify Elizabeth or establish how many children there were before William, if any.

Elizabeth died a widow in 1745, three years after her husband died. If she married in about 1690 and was aged 21 when married then she might have been 76 years old.
