Narrative and Notes

Jacob WALKER was born in Middlesmoor 5 miles north of Pateley Bridge. He married Sarah JOW in May 1759 in Pateley Bridge. As he was living in Greenhow Hill when he married and at Greenhow Hill and Coldstonefold for his children's baptisms, it is very likely that he was a lead miner.

Sarah and Jacob had three children, however he died in Jan 1767, before his third daughter, Sarah, was born.
