Anne CONWAY married Eliazer OXLEY in South Kirby in May 1672. Their first child was baptized in November 1673 and their thirteenth in May 1695 shortly after the death of Eliazer.
Anne appears to have re-married. A marriage licence for John WATERWORTH of Hemsworth and Anne OXELEY of Wakefield, aged 40, was agreed for a marriage in Rothwell in 1697. No marriage record has been found though.
There are three possible baptisms for Anne in All Saints, South Kirby:
- Anne daughter of John CONWAY of South Kirby on 19 Oct 1653 + 4 older siblings
- Anne daughter of John CONWAY of South Elmsall on 20 Nov 1653 + 2 siblings in 1655 and 1659
- Anne daughter of John CONWAY of Flatts on 14 Dec 1655
The third best fits the age on the 1697 marriage licence, but it is not known where Flatts was.
There are no burials of Anne CONWAYs and no marriage except for the Eliazer OXLEY marriage in 1672, so it is not possible to rule out any of the three Annes.
