An Anne Tooley married a Joseph Horwood in 1727 in Bicester. This is the only record of an Ann(e) marrying a Joseph Horwood in Oxfordshire during from 1695-1735. Outisde Oxon, there is one other match in Gloucester in 1719 and one in Lincs in 1716. These do not provide as good a match either in time or location, whereas the Anne Tooley record fits both perfectly. An unrecorded marriage is, of course, also possible, however on balance I think Anne Tooley is the husband of Joseph Horwood and mother of William Horwood.
While there are 20 children called Ann/Hannah Tooley/Tully (or similar) born 1707 +/-5, only one was christened (Ann Tooly) in Bicester, on 3/31/1705. It seems reasonable that this is this Anne Tooley. She would have been 22 when wed and 41 at the birth of her last child.
Anne Tooley and Joseph Horwood had eight children all christened in Bicester between 1727 and 1746. They were: William, Mary, Ann, Daniel, Daniel, Martha, Hannah and Nathaniel.
