A John TILL was baptized by William and Helen TILL in Sandon in 1717, although it's not clear whether this is the right John TILL.
A John TILL wrote a will dated 1764 while living in Whitgreave, Staffs (5 miles to Sandon and 12 to Mavesyn Ridware) leaving his estate to his wife Elizabeth. It seems unlikely that he ignored his children or wrote a will in Whitgreave and baptized a daughter in Mavesyn Ridware a month later, so there must be John TILLs, with the Whitegreave one more likely to have been baptized in Sandon.
Another John TILL was baptized in 1711 by another William TILL in Colton, Staffs (5 miles to Mavesyn Ridware). This would make him 33 when he married Elizabeth ABERLEY which seems too old.
