John MILES was an agricultural labour and brewer. He was born in about 1790/1 and lived his entire life in Clifton Campville.

John married Mary HUGHES of Netherseal in December 1811. The witnesses were Joseph MILES, his younger brother, and Thomas HORABIN.

John and Mary they had 8 children.

In 1841 and 1861 John is reported to be an agricultural labourer, but in between, in 1851, he is a brewer.

John MILES died on 7 Jul 1867 of chronic bronchitis and asthma at his home in Clifton Campville. His daughter Sarah was present at his death.
