Narrative and Notes

No record of the marriage of Moore with Mary has been found, but it may have occurred anywhere where the 1st Foot Guards were stationed, and may have been an informal marriage with a camp follower. Most likely though was that she was from Uttoxeter where her two known children were baptized.
