Sarah married John PARKES in Kingsley, Staffordshire, in 1786, and had eight children. Her first daughter died within days, and her first son named John also died in infancy.
Assuming that her family was also from Kingsley, there are several possible baptisms for Sarah:
9 Apr 1758 by Daniel and Offrey CARR, died in infancy on 7 Jan 1759- 9 Dec 1760 by William and Sarah CARR, mother died 1793
- 07 Oct 1762 by Daniel and Offrey CARR, mother died 1765
If one of these baptisms was Sarah then the other Sarah married Abell CARR of Kingsley (with Abel CARR as a witness) in 1788. Abell and Sarah baptized John, Sarah, Ann, George, Hannah, Phineas and Mary in Kingsley between 1789 and 1801.
Unfortunately neither couple named any children after any of the above parents, so figuring out which is which is problematic. One clue is that Sarah CARR (nee CARR) of Kingsley, born c. 1757 died in Kingsley in 1831, suggesting that she was the daughter of William and Sarah CARR, born 1760.
